Walking Routes

The walks downloadable here are intended to help you explore & enjoy the West Berkshire Countryside.

The trails and landscapes you will encounter are subject to constant change due to various natural factors such as weather, erosion, wildlife activity, and human intervention. Paths may become obscured, water levels can fluctuate, and vegetation might grow or recede. As a result, the walk directions presented may not always be entirely accurate or up-to-date.

Although we strive to provide accurate and detailed information, please understand that using the walk leaflet is at your own risk. Nature's unpredictability may mean that some sections of the walk could be more challenging or inaccessible than anticipated. Please exercise caution, especially in adverse weather conditions, and be prepared for unexpected obstacles.

On the Interactive Map, clicking on the pin will pop up the name of the walk & the start location. Clicking on the 'i' icon in the popup will display the walk guide which you can view, download or print according to your needs. Clicking on the arrow icon in the popup will create a route map for you from a location of your choice to the start of the walk. On some walks, there is also a 'links' icon at the base of the popup. Clicking on this will bring up additional information about that location.

Please note, that due to some limitations of the mapping tool a few of the walk starting points on the interactive map may not be precise. In case of discrepancy, it is the walk leaflet location that should be followed. We hope to improve this situation shortly.

Enjoy the walks!
